Margaret L. 'Peg' Weaver  1944 - 2003
OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - June 25, 2003

SHERIDAN- Memorial services for Margaret L. "Peg" Weaver, 59, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dave Duprey officiating.  Cremation has taken place.

She died June 21, 2003, at her home.

Born in Billings, Mont. on Feb. 7, 1944, she was the daughter of William P. Toy, Jr. and Helen M. Anderson Toy.  As a child, she lived in Billings and Glendive, Mont.  She attended college in Kan. and did graduate work at Georgetown University, University of Minnesota, University of Washington and University of Wyoming.  She also participated in many computer and technology courses.

She worked for the federal government for three years after she graduated in college in 1966.  She then began her teaching career at Sheridan High School, teaching English for 31 years.  She also served as humanities division head from 1988 to 1993 and later as English department head from 1993 to 2000.  She received numerous awards during her teaching career, including being named as Sheridan's Teacher of the Year in 1987.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, reading and being with friends.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald D.; two daughters, Kathleen Anne of Eugene, Ore. and Michelle Erin of Rhododendron, Ore.; one son, Scott Patrick and his wife; one grandson; three sisters, Patricia Toy and Marilyn Suppes, both of Tacoma, Wash., and Cathy Gamas of Minot, N.D.; and numerous nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
