SHERIDAN -- A private family service for Wayland J. Williams, 28, will be held at a later date.

He died on July 23, 2008, in Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Wayland was born August 28, 1979, in Sheridan, to Robert and Genie (Champlin) Williams. He grew up and attended schools in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School.

He worked at several different construction jobs becoming a heavy equipment operator for SSR Construction.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, mud bogging, four-wheeling, motorcycles, and especially loved animals.

He is survived by his parents, Robert Williams, and Genie Champlin, both of Sheridan.

Arrangements are pending with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
