Memorial services for Jeremy G. Sikkenga, 29, of Sheridan will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Doolin officiating.

Inurnment of cremains will be later in Sheridan Memorial Cemetery under direction of Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

Mr. Sikkenga died May 6, 2008, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 1, 1978, in Havre, Mont., to John and Sheila (Ausen) Sikkenga. He graduated from Sheridan High School, where he was a member of the swim team and a Christian youth group. After high school, he worked at several jobs until he became a drill hand at Kid Pronghorn.

He enjoyed playing video games, writing poetry and being with his family.

He was a member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Ruth Ausen, and a grandfather, Jim Balke.

Survivors include his parents of Sheridan; two brothers, Nate of Gillette and Wesley of Sheridan; and his grandparents Glen and Helen Ausen of Laurel, Mont., and Lois Balke of Belgrade, Mont.
