SHERIDAN -- Services for Edwin Alexander Love, 31, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Doug Melius officiating.

Cremation has taken place.

Burial will be at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo.

He died on Sept. 11, 2008, at his home in Missoula, Mont.

He was born on Dec. 8, 1976, in Sheridan, to Kim Love and Chon Mikkelson Love.

He was a 1995, graduate of Sheridan High School.

He also received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana.

He enjoyed downhill mountain bike racing, snowboarding, motorcycle racing, and spending time with his beloved dog, Otto.

In Missoula, he raced downhill mountain bikes for Missoula Bike Works, often placing in the top five.

He also was part of Norba-the National Mountain Biking Series, participating in many national races.

He loved snowboarding, competing in many boarder cross and big air competitions at Snow Bowl.

If he was near the water, he loved to surf and scuba dive.

A trip he took to Mexico with friends Ben and Dan was one of the highlights of his life. He also loved going to the family ranch and taking horseback rides to Ginger’s Cabin. He worked in the computer industry, specializing in web development and security following his graduation from college.

He is survived by his mother of Billings, Mont.; father and stepmother, Mary Kay of Sheridan; sister, Betsy of Sheridan; grandfather, Cutler Mikkelson of Story; two aunts, two uncles; and his very best friend, Jenny Horsley.

Memorials may be sent to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Rd., Sheridan or the St. Francis Animal Shelter, 109 Flatiron Drive, Buffalo.
