Jason J. "Jim" Majszak, 35, of Sheridan died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at his residence.

Funeral liturgy was Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Larry Fedor officiating. Cremation followed the service. Arrangements were with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

Mr. Majszak was born Jan. 23, 1969, in Petoskey, Mich., to John and Theora (Evans) Majszak. The family moved to Bozeman, Mont., in 1972 and to Sheridan in 1977. Mr. Majszak was a graduate of Sheridan High School.

He worked for Sheridan Manor, Rehabilitation Enterprises of North Eastern Wyoming and, later, for Rail Link at Spring Creek and Decker coal mines as leader of a train-loading crew.

He enjoyed fishing, the mountains, four-wheeling, motorcycles and going to Wal-Mart.

He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nikki of Sheridan; his parents of Sheridan; three brothers, Greg of Johnstown, Colo., Matt of Ranchester and Monty of Thornton, Colo.; and three sisters, Lisa Majszak of Billings, Kristy Szmul of Plano, Texas, and Mary Ann Dexter of Canon City, Colo.
