James "Rob" Connolly, 44, of Sheridan passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Rob was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on February 5, 1968 to Robert Eugene and Rita Rae (Heinz) Connolly. He grew up and attended schools in Sheridan, graduating in the class of 1986.

He met and later married Leann Marie Toma on June 11, 1994. Together they had three children Carissa, Nick, and Matt.

Rob worked as a HVAC Tech with Prill Brothers as an installer for five years. He liked fishing, hunting, being in the mountains, working on cars and especially spending time with his family and friends.

Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife, Leann, his children, Carissa, Nick and Matt all of Sheridan, WY. His parents, Robert and Rita Connolly of Sheridan, WY, his brother Rick Connolly of Sheridan, WY, and his sister, Michelle (Sam) Phelps of Sheridan, WY, several aunts, uncles, and his nephews, Garrett, Wayde, and Dylan.

Memorials to honor Rob can be made to the Connolly Cancer Fund, in care of First Interstate Bank, PO Box 6499, 1613 Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan, WY 82801.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Viewing will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday (Sept. 3rd) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home with funeral service at 10:00am on Tuesday from Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Cain officiating. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
