Kari Danette ALLRED Puckering 1967-1998 SHS 1986

Kari Danette Allred Puckering, age 30, and Desert Puckering, age 3 1/2, died January 3, 1998 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Wendover.

Kari was born November 14, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Varlan Dale and Venis Kay Wade Allred. Married David Puckering July 31, 1988 in Sheridan, Wyoming. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at the University of Utah Hospital. She was kind and compassionate towards others, always very giving and putting others before herself. Enjoyed camping and hiking with her family and loved the outdoors. She was more than a sister, a best friend.She is survived by husband, David; twin daughters, Mykela and Mykenzie, all of Salt Lake City; father; grandparents, Daniel and Mary Grace Wade, Washington, Utah; brother, Todd (Jennifer) Allred, Bishop, California; sister, Pamela (Domingo) Flores, Spanish Fork; and a devoted aunt to nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her mother and grandmother, Thresa Wade.

Desert was born March 22, 1994 in SLC, Utah, son of David Lovell and Kari Danette Allred Puckering. He attended The Challenger School in Salt Lake City. Loved the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his cousins. He was a special child to all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, 6515 South Lion Lane (3110 East). Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, one hour prior to services.
