SHERIDAN -- Memorial services for Charles Wayne McKenzie, 41, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Lucas officiating.

Friends are invited to call at the chapel one hour prior to the services.

He died at his home in Rock Springs on Sept. 30, 2007.

He had resided in Rock Springs for the past 15 years and was employed as a pipefitter at Solvay Minerals.

He was born in Sheridan on May 4, 1966, the son of Victoria Mitchell.

He attended school in Sheridan and was a 1985 graduate of Sheridan High School.

His primary interest was spending time with his daughter, Kiley; camping, fishing, art, four wheeling, motorcycling and going to Cloud Peak Reservoir. He loved spending time with his friends and had many. He loved his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Kiley Kristine McKenzie of Sheridan; his mother, Victoria Sarokon of Story; one sister, Christi McKenzie Clark of Puyallup, Wash.; his grandparents, Kenny and Jessie Mitchell of Sheridan and Dick and Betty McKenzie of Big Horn.

The family suggests memorials to the Kiley Kristine McKenzie Fund, in care of First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 430, Buffalo, 82834.
