After High School in Sheridan, he enlisted in the Army, and trained as a diesel mechanic. He was stationed in Germany and enjoyed touring in Europe.

He attended Vo-Tech school in Phoenix, AZ. Ted loved the Big Horn Mountains, and had many adventures camping, fishing, and snowboarding. He adored the family pets throughout his life, especially his dog, Dill.

He is survived by his brother, Roger “Rocky” Nicholas (Skyla); sisters Cynthia Heigold (Fred), Mary Jane Miller and Rose Marie Reeves; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at the SLC Veteran’s Hospital Hospice who provided his care during his last months. He will be laid to rest at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
