SHERIDAN -- Memorial services for Martha Louise Westika, 43, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2006, with the Rev. Tom Ogg officiating.

She died June 29, 2006, in a car accident while vacationing in Raymond, Ill.

She was born Nov. 26, 1962, in Sheridan to LeRoy and Susie Westika.

She was an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe.

She was raised in Sheridan and attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1982.

She attended Sheridan College for one year and worked at Sheridan Memorial Hospital for a few years.

In 1990, she received her X-ray tech degree from Great Falls, Mont.

She moved to Casper and was employed at the Wyoming Medical Center.

She returned to Sheridan in 1998 to be closer to her family and raise her children.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She took pleasure in keeping her yard looking nice, especially her beautiful flowers.

Most of all, she loved her children. She attended every school function, sporting event and did everything to make sure her kids were well taken care of before herself.

Survivors include her parents, brothers, Anthony Wade Westika of Ogden, Utah and Paul Michael Westika of Sheridan; her children, Nysha Rae Westika and Michael Wade Westika; many aunts and uncles, a nephew, numerous cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Samuel and Esther Westika, Jose Elias and Felipeta Maria Trujillo and three uncles.

Cremation has taken place. Kane Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
