Michael James Kirkpatrick, age 58, passed away on June 9, 2021 in Billings, MT.

He was born to James Romanzo and Jacquelyn Ann (Langston) Kirkpatrick in Sheridan, WY on April 23, 1963. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1981, and later married Windy Renee Stonebraker on September 16, 2004 in Billings.

Michael loved any and everything billiards and mechanics. He was active on the pool leagues in Billings and would often sub if needed. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Michael loved debating politics and religion. Michael very much-loved spending time with his family. He was trying to teach the grandchildren how to play pool and work on cars. He enjoyed photography, tinkering in the garage, and other old man activities. He had a very dry sense of humor and truly thought he was the funniest person he knew. He had a ginormous heart and a generosity that was unmatched.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jacquelyn.

Michael is survived by his wife, Windy; children: Killian Kirkpatrick of Billings, Montana (Carly Kuba), Renee Stonebraker of Billings, Montana (Blake Fulton), Tyler Stonebraker of Billings, Montana (Sioux Fasthorse), Georgia Kirkpatrick of Laramie, Wyoming, and Nicholas Youngberg of Lexington, Tennessee; his sister Kristy Kirkpatrick of Chino, California (Mike White); and his grandchildren: August Rain Stonebraker, Johnie Mae Stonebraker, and Elias Jonathan Fulton-Stonebraker of Billings, MT.

“Mike, I love you with all of my heart, for all of my life. I will miss your sarcasm and laughter. The sound of your laugh and the feel of your heart. I truly married my best friend. I'll see you again someday. Make sure to let me know when you are around (which I am sure you will) and know that every day I will be missing you and loving you. Love, Windy”

Private viewing for immediate family has already taken place and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
