SHERIDAN -- Mass of Christian Burial for Michael D. Genereaux, 47, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Ron Stolcis officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Big Horn.

A Christian wake service will be 7 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008, at Kane Funeral Home.

He died April 3, 2008, in Las Vegas.

He was born Nov. 29, 1960, in Sheridan to John and Shirley Genereaux. He was a graduate of Sheridan High School.

He was an excellent welder and was very proud of his welding skills.

He enjoyed reading tech books and anything that stimulated his mind.

He liked to tinker around and come up with new inventions.

He and his youngest sister, Martha, shared a close bond.

He is survived by his parents, John and Shirley of Sheridan; his siblings, Joe Genereaux of Centennial, Colo., Natalie Telck of Sheridan, Sara Bartel of Helena, Mont., Anna Davis of Greeley, Colo., and Martha McLellan of Las Vegas, Nev., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kane Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
