Nelson M. Crider, 47, of Sheridan died Sept. 14. 2007, in his residence of apparent natural causes.

Private family services will be later. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeneral Home.

Mr. Crider was born May 7, 1960, in Sheridan to Dr. John and Marilyn (Weber) Crider.

He grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan andn worked on area ranches. He served in the Wyoming National Guard for four years.

He graduated and received certification as a farrier from Oregon State Ferrier School, then returned to Sheridan, where he worked shoeing horses and as a carpenter for several construction companies.

He enjoyed dancing.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, John A.,; and his twin brother, Neal.

Survivors include his mother of Sheridan; three brothers, Michael, Kyle and Kelly, all of Sheridan; and a sister, Karen Grimes, of Jackson.
