Ralph L. Reed passed away at home, 3490 Vinson Road, Wylie, Texas, on January 17, 2016.

Ralph was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on December 1, 1957 to Ethel (Reed) Hansen and Louis Cass Reed. His early years were spent on the family homestead in Spotted Horse, Wyoming, and then in Sheridan until high school graduation.

He attended DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Arizona. Upon graduation, he was recruited by Rockwell Collins/Richardson, Texas, where he was employed for 38 years.

Ralph is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Lynn Reed Guthrie (spouse Nate Guthrie), brothers Doug Hansen and Jeff Hansen, and other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
