Walter John "Wally" Pilch, 25, Sheridan was killed in a hunting accident while hunting near Arrowhead Lodge Saturday.

He was born Dec. 31, 1957, in Sheridan, a son of Walter and Olga Pilch. He was a graduate of Sheridan High School and had attended Casper College. He was employed by the Wyoming Department of Maintenance in Gillette. He was a member of Holy Name Church.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pilch, Sheridan; two brothers, Mike, Sheridan, and Thomas, a student at Montana State University, Bozeman, Mont.; his grandmother, Mrs. George Legerski, Sheridan.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Champion Funeral Home with the Rev. William Delaney officiating. Mass of the Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Church. Burial in the Elks section at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
