James Allen Clearwater, 53, of Sheridan passed on Thursday, December 22, 2010 at his residence.

James was born on September 18, 1957 in Cody, WY to Robert W. and Margaret L. (Eccli) Clearwater. He attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1976.

He spent many years working with a Seismograph crew and most recent as a long haul truck driver. Jim was an avid Denver Bronco Fan, collector of 3000 plus pieces of Coca Cola polar bear items, he enjoyed garage sales and time with grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Jim was a wonderful friend to all who knew him and you seldom saw him without his propeller hat.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife Vicki, mother Margaret Powers, father Robert Clearwater, Brother Mike, Sister Vicki, Niece Vicki and his grandparents.

He is survived by his daughter Autumn Hart of Billings, Son Josh Clearwater of Sheridan, Sister Kelly Bowen of Sheridan, Brothers: Gary of Billings, Tim of Missouri, Rich (Olga) of Georgia, Dan (Gail) of Wisconsin. Thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation for Jim will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 6 - 8 pm at Kane Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at the Sheridan Elks Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up to help with funeral expenses at Kane Funeral Home, 689 Meridian, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
