CASPER -- A memorial service for Dr. Scott Allen Loe, 49, will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 14, at Highland Park Community Church, with Pastor Jack Olsen of Evangelical Free Church officiating.

He died March 10, 2006, at his home.

Born Nov. 20, 1956, in Lake Preston, S.D., he was the son of Don and Norma (Kroon) Loe. He was raised in the Midwestern states and graduated from Sheridan High School.

On June 27, 1981, in Sheridan, he married Lynn Weber. They moved to Casper in 1983.

He took a deep interest in his family, coaching kids in many sports, discipling men and women at the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission, leading optometric mission trips out of the country and playing city league basketball.

Survivors include his wife; his sons, Chris and Cameron; his parents, Don and Norma Loe; and his brother Kim.

Memorials in his honor can be made to an educational trust for his children in care of Hilltop National Bank, or can be made to the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission and may be left with Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory, which has charge of arrangements.
