Edward FOLTZ 1957 - 2012 SHS 1975

Edward Foltz of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at his home, at the age of 55.

Ed was born on June 5, 1957, in Worland Wyoming, to Lucille "Luci" and Don Foltz. The family moved to Sheridan when Ed was five years old. Ed attended Holy Name, Highland Park, Central Jr. High and then graduated Sheridan High School in 1975.

Ed was the primary care giver for many years for his mom, Luci, after Don passed away, for which the family remains eternally thankful. Ed also was a cook at Sheridan Memorial Hospital and in other hospital facilities in Helen, Montana.

Ed loved his family, especially his son, Nathan. He also cherished his friends, the outdoors, cooking, listening to music or watching a good movie. He always jumped at the opportunity to go to the mountain to camp, hike and fish. He was a great cook and loved to prepare lavish meals to share with friends and family. He loved playing billiards, cribbage and darts.

Preceding him in death were his parents Don and Luci Foltz and two brothers; his oldest brother Bill and his youngest brother Jim.

Family survivors include his son, Nathan Foltz of Bozeman, Montana. Ed is also survived by two sisters, Mary Kiger of Olympia Washington, and Madelon Kuchera of Chicago, Illinois, and a brother Peter Foltz of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Surviving Ed are two nieces, Lisa Kiger and Nicole Kuchera and two nephews, Jesse Foltz and Eric Kiger . Ed is also survived by friends too numerous to mention, that will miss him dearly.
