OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - December 26 2003

SHERIDAN - Services for Sheridan resident Kenneth D. Deutsch, 46, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Champion-Ferries Funeral Home in Sheridan by the Rev. Ray Clark. Cremation will follow, with private family committal services at a later date.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 26.

He died Dec. 22, 2003, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Born April 20, 1957, in Durango, Colo., he was the son of Andrew Paul and Sylvia (Steiner) Deutsch; and was raised and educated in Sheridan. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1975.

On Feb. 23, 1979, he married Connie Jean Badgett in Sheridan.

He began working for the Wyoming Department of Transportation six months after graduating from high school and, at the time of his death, was a construction foreman for WYDOT. Also, he worked part-time at the O.K. Corral.

A member of the Lutheran Church and Sheridan Dart League, he enjoyed the mountains, fishing, hunting, and cars; and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, son, Mark Deutsch, two daughters, Laura Wagner and Tami Harnish, and mother, all of Sheridan; and three brothers, Chris and Raymond, both of Sheridan, and Paul of Ranchester.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
