Kathi DELIRAMICH 1956 - 2009 SHS 1975

Kathi Deliramich, 52 years of age, passed away February 25, 2009 at St. Vincent’s Hospital from complications following heart surgery.

Kathi was born on May 9, 1956 in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Pete and Erma Jean Deliramich. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1975 and from Billings Business College with a focus on legal secretarial courses.

Kathi was employed by law firms in Colorado and California before returning to Billings to be near her aging parents. She worked for Harkins Law Firm and most recently for the Yellowstone County Attorney’s Office.

Kathi was involved with the American Heart Association and participated annually in the Heart and Sole Run. She eagerly volunteered for programs related to heart health.

In her younger years, Kathi excelled in swimming and was a member of the YMCA and Sheridan High School swim teams and was a body builder.

She was also a long time member of Jobs Daughters and recently became a consultant for Mary Kay products.

Her hobbies included embroidery, reading, cooking, growing porch tomatoes and making salsa.

She loved spending quality time with family and friends. Kathi was a loyal daughter, sister, relative, and friend dedicated to helping those in need and was an inspiration to everyone. Her crowning attributes of strength, tenacity, wit, humor and independence will be genuinely missed by those who loved and knew her. Kathi’s passing has left a huge void in many lives. She was a priceless jewel.

Kathi was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two brothers, Dan and Simone of Buffalo, and Andy and Julie of Gillette; a niece Aimee of Hawaii; and a nephew Stefan of Tennessee.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Smith Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St. with a reception to follow.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery Shriner’s Section.

Kathi was a volunteer for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) and the family requests memorial donation sent there with checks payable to Yellowstone CASA, 111 N. 30th St; Suite 222; Billings, MT 59101, designated in Kathi’s name with a note mentioning who they should notify of the gift (Dan Deliramich).
