Debra (Steel) Vinke, Age 63 of Imperial, MO, passed away on September 16, 2019 after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Debby was born to George and Elta Steel, on March 10, 1956 in Sheridan, WY.

Debby is survived by her husband Durwin Vinke of Imperial, MO, her children Michael Vinke and Melanie Vinke both of Bourbon, MO, sister Margo (Frank) Kelley of Billings, MT and brother Brett (Nancy) Steel or Orange County, FL. She was an aunt, niece, sister in law, cousin, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Elta Steel and her brother Gregory Steel.

Debby met her spouse Durwin Vinke in 1972. They were married on July 13,1974, in Sheridan, WY and spent an amazing 45 years together. Together they raised two children: Michael Vinke (Jessica immerly) and Melanie Vinke (Raymond Vance). Her grandchildren include Barrett, Savanna, Kendrik, Matthew, Alivia, Garrett, Hank, Seth, and Ren. She was also an aunt, niece, sister in law, cousin and friend to many.

She had many passions in life, but her greatest pleasure was spoiling her grandchildren. As an avid shopper she enjoyed finding the perfect items for each grandchild. She also enjoyed spending eekends down at the lake fishing and swimming. Debby had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone she came across. Debby worked for JCPenney’s for many years as a custom drapery specialist.

There will be a celebration of life in Bourbon, MO on October 5, 2019 at Anthonies Mill Resort at 1:00 pm. She will then be laid to rest the following spring back home with family in Sheridan, WY. The Sheridan Press â€" Sept. 28, 2019.
