Giles Graham Paine, age 57 of Mountain Home, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Paine was born February 29, 1956 in Monroe, Louisiana to Jack G. and Mary (Cleaver) Paine.

He retired as a Chief in the United States Navy, where he served as an Electronic Technician. In the early 1990's, he was declared the Navy's fifth best recruiter. And he received an award at the White House to celebrate this accomplishment.

Mr. Paine was survived by his two sons, Braden Paine and Garret Paine, both of Rogersville, Missouri, his mother Mary Paine of Mountain Home, and a sister Connie Elmore Phillips of Springdale, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside Services with military honors were held Friday, August 23, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kirby Tucker Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the children's charity, UNICEF, in Mr. Paine's memory.

Arrangements were under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
