Former Sheridan resident Andrew Keith Goodchild, 53, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, in Glenrock of natural causes.

Funeral liturgy is 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Patrick's Church in Casper with the Rev. August Koeune as celebrant. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday.

Born March 8, 1956, in Glasgow, Mont., to Mardy A. and Julia M. (Garr) Goodchild, he graduated from Sheridan High School and served in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1978.

Upon being honorably discharged from the Navy, he was a master electrician in Casper.

Mr. Goodchild owned Electric Avenue Co. from 1993-1995.

In 1996 he married Keitha Lamance. They divorced.

He was a 28-year member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 322 of Casper.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include two brothers, Bill of Denver and Charles of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a sister, Laura Ward of North Bend, Wash.; a stepson, Chris Campbell of Casper; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are with Gorman Funeral Homes Converse Chapel of Douglas and Bustard Funeral Home of Casper.
