SHERIDAN - Services for Ashland, Mont. resident Dianne Carole Dunning, 47, will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Champion-Ferries Funeral Home in Sheridan by Pastor Bob Miller.  Cremation will follow.

She died Dec. 22, 2002, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Billings, Mont.

Born Nov. 9, 1955, in Sheridan, she was the daughter of Sidney Lee and Doris Lee Dunning; was raised on Otter Creek, near Ashland; and attended Ashland public schools.  She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1974.

An artist, she worked and trained horses; enjoyed barrel-racing, team-roping, rodeos, making jewelry, and ranch work; and loved her dogs, cats and horses.

Survivors include her mother, son, Scott Dunning, and daughter, Cary Mitzkus, all of Otter Creek; two brothers, Denny Dunning of Taylor Creek, Mont., and Dee Dunning of Otter Creek; and two sisters, Debbie Rukavina of Mesa, Ariz., and Sunlight Basin and Darla Dunning of Potomac, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her father.
