Cynthia Ann RAWLINGS 1953 - 2014 SHS 1972

Cynthia Ann Rawlings passed away peacefully on Aug. 24, 2014, surrounded by family.

Cindy was born on Feb. 20, 1953, in Sheridan, Wyo., the daughter of Beverly J. and Byron B. Rawlings, and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1972.

Cindy enjoyed successful careers as both a respiratory therapist and dental hygienist before retiring to a more peaceful home care position. She loved the outdoors, especially camping and hiking, and her vegetable garden was her pride and joy. She greatly enjoyed both traveling and history. In the last year, she walked both Hadrian's Wall in England and the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Mark Beadle of Billings; her mother, Bev Rawlings of Sheridan; brother Bill Rawlings of Sheridan; sisters Connie (John) Rawlings-Dritsas of Portland, Ore., and Teena (Brian Krzyzanowski) Rawlings of Omaha, Neb.; nephew Jared (Ciara Smith) Rawlings of Sheridan; her niece Jadrian (Mike) Verheeck and great -niece Amelia Verheeck of Newton, N.J. Cindy is also survived by her father-in-law Ervin Beadle of Laurel; sisters-in-law Barbara (Jim) Mothershead of Unionville, Mo., and Susan (Joe) Kusek of Billings, as well as nieces and nephew, Kristi (Alex) Waite of Riverside, Iowa, Katie Mothershead of Iowa City, Iowa, Nolan Mothershead of North Liberty, Iowa, Erin Kusek of Missoula and Olivia Kusek of Billings.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at the Lillis Chapel, 2429 Mission Way (St. John's Campus) in Billings on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. John's Yoga group or the American Cancer Society .

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the Billings Clinic Oncology Department and RiverStone Hospice for the loving care given Cindy.
