Kelvin J PINDER 1954 - 2012 SHS 1972

Kelvin J. Pinder, 57, of Sheridan passed away on April 23, 2012 after a short illness at the Billings Clinic.

Kelvin, son of Joseph F. and Helen E. (Goodman Hughes) Pinder was born on July 14, 1954 in Sheridan, WY. Kelvin attended and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1972. He served in the Army from 1972 to 1974.

He came home to Sheridan where he went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad. He worked there 35 years and was a valued employee and co-worker.

On June 19, 1999, he married Marsha Lynn Mcdonald in Sheridan and they built their home on Beaver Creek Road with cat companions, Mieu and Bell.

Kelvin enjoyed coin collecting and rock hounding. He loved to fish and camp in his beloved Big Horns with Marsha and friends. His home was his sanctuary where he was the ultimate grounds keeper. He was a devoted husband, uncle and friend.

Kelvin was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha, brothers; Kent (Debbie) and Curtis (Linda), stepsiblings; Andrea Kramer, Robert Kramer, and Judy Pinder, along with aunts and uncles and cousins.

Services with Military Honors for Kelvin will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Phil Wold officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Pinder, Kent Pinder, Dan Olson, Lucas and Andrew Smith and Uncle Walt Goodman (deceased). A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sheridan Dog & Cat Shelter at 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801. Or to the charity of donor's choice.
