Lydia "Lala" Zickefoose was born on July 6, 1954 in Greybull, Wyoming to Antonio and Mary Paredez.

Lydia grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming, got married in Billings, Montana where she accepted Christ at the Spanish Assembly of God and worked over 10 years for GMAC.

In 1991, Lydia and her family started a new adventure in Clearwater, FL where she enjoyed walking on the beach and being out of the snow.

Lydia moved to Katy in 2001 to be close to her Mom and sister, Mary Ann.

She attended Second Baptist Church.

Lydia is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Robert Zickefoose of Katy, her children Amy (Steven) of Clearwater and Brett (Lynette) of Katy, her mother, Mary Chavez of Sheridan, her brothers Tony Paredez of Cody, WY and Michael Chavez of Sheridan, and sisters Kristine Adams and Lisa Hansen of Sheridan and Mary Ann Clark of Katy and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

The joy of Lydia's life in recent years was her 3 grandchildren, Mason and Shea Schreiber and Danyka Zickefoose.

Lydia loved laughing with family and friends and playing cards. She kept in close contact with all her family members. We will miss her so very much.

She was strong in her faith and love of Christ, prayed over her family daily, and her hope was that her children and grandchildren will grow closer to Him.

A memorial service will be held at the Bethesda Worship Center in Sheridan, WY on March 6, 2010 at 1pm. All those who knew her are invited to remember how she touched our lives.
