SHERIDAN - Memorial services for former Sheridan resident Deborah Denise (Henry) Nelson, 49, of St. Louis, will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Sheridan by the Rev. David Duprey.

She died May 4, 2003, at her home, of natural causes.

Born June 3, 1953, in Casper, she was the daughter of Raymond Henry and Marcelee H. Nelson; graduated from Sheridan High School in 1971; and was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Sheridan College on a scholarship and belonged to Phi Theta Kappa.

On Aug. 5, 1972, she married Richard Lentz.  They were the parents of a daughter and divorced in 1976.
She received a bachelor and master degree, magna cum laude, in computer science in May 1993, from Maryville College; and was inducted into Delta Epsilon Sigma national scholastic honor society.

Her career included a position with Nerco Corp., which took her family to Alaska and St. Louis.  She also worked for Citicorp; Ralston Purina; Monsanto Corp.; and, finally, Anheuser-Busch Corp.

An avid reader, she loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends and in various organizations; and enjoyed working with computers.

Survivors include her mother; brother, Michael Henry of Cheyenne; daughter, Renee Dawn Euler, and her husband of Denver; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Ethel and Andrew Nelson.
