SHERIDAN -- A celebration of life for Linda Lee Layton, 54, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at Big Horn Mountain Eagles Lodge in Sheridan.

She died Nov. 9, 2006, at her home.

She was born March 24, 1952, in Gillette, to Edward and Doris (Seeley) Moore.

She grew up and attended schools in Moorcroft, Payson, Ariz., Rosehill, Va., and graduated from Sheridan High School.

She graduated from Sheridan College with an associate's degree in computer science.

She married Darrell Layton in 1973 and they divorced in 1989.

She was a member of VFW Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary and the Women Pilots Association. She enjoyed flying her Glastar aircraft and was an accomplished dart player for many seasons.

Survivors include her companion, Ron Lytton of Sheridan; son, Travis Layton of Rock Springs; daughter, Holly Munoz of Seattle; brother, Keith Moore of Sheridan; sister, Karla Moore of Charlotte, N.C., and three grandchildren.

Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
