Venere Sue Howell, 61, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Dec. 14, 2013.

She was born Feb. 16, 1952 in Sheridan, WY to Nanette Ruby (Meyer) and Robert Gordon Miller.

Venere worked for the First National Bank of Sheridan, WY for 25 years and then for the Salmon Creek Vision Center in Vancouver, WA for 20 years, before retiring.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan.

She enjoyed baking and creating Barbie clothes with her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Venere is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Howell, of 31 years; sister, Willa Curtis; brother, Dr. Robert Miller; sister, Glenna Travers; son, Shane Patterson, Kathy Patterson; son, Craig (Erin) Howell; son, Ryan Howell; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Pam Miller; brother-in-law, Jack Curtis; and daughter-in-law, Angie Howell.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
