Roxanne Harris Schuppe, 60, of Billings, peacefully passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, in her home with her family by her side after an 11-year battle with cancer.

She was born to Phil Harris and Katherine "Tootie" Maasch on Aug. 18, 1951, in Sheridan, Wyo., and was proud to be a member of the Crow Tribe.

Roxie was the firstborn child of Phil and Tootie. She spent her childhood living on ranches, playing and exploring the countryside with her siblings in Wyoming. She worked for Burlington Northern Railroad in Sheridan, and later transferred to Laurel. She then moved to Billings, where she met her future husband, Ed. She possessed a devoted love for uncovering hidden treasures and antiques and later started her own business, Flappers Boutique & Antiques. Her impeccable design sense and coveted tastes was apparent in everything she did including an entire home make-over. She loved traveling to see her family and looked forward to each new adventure ahead. She will be greatly missed by all who enjoyed her bright smile and infectious laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Schuppe; daughters LeEllen Schuppe of Billings, and Nicole Schuppe Colbert of San Francisco, Calif; mother, Katherine Maasch of Sheridan, Wyo.; brothers Pat Harris of Babb, and Jon Harris of Billings; sisters Mikealena Olson of Sheridan, Wyo., and Elizabeth Harlson of Billings; and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father Phil Harris and brother Jay Harris.

Memorial services will be held at Cremation & Funeral Gallery, 29 Eighth St. W., Billings, 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20. Memorials may be made to RiverStone Hospice or American Cancer Society.
