SHERIDAN - Memorial services for Sheridan resident Penney Elaine Hart, 51, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Champion-Ferries Funeral Home in Sheridan by Fr. Ronald Stolcis.  Burial of cremains will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery at a later date.

She died Aug. 8, 2002, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Born Feb. 12, 1951, in Douglas, Ariz., she was the daughter of John A. and Kathryn (Cravey) Logan.  The family moved to Sheridan when she was 4 and she was raised and educated there.  She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1969 and attended Sheridan College for two years.

On June 20, 1970, she married Russell Hart in Fort Collins, Colo.

She worked for MHSC before going to work for Drs. Lindeman and Mathews.  Later, she worked as a bookkeeper for Pradere, Ebzery, Mohatt and Rinaldo.

Her interests included decorating cakes, sewing, making handcrafts, and camping in the mountains.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years of Sheridan; two sons, Jeremy of Fort Riley, Kan., and Jason of Sheridan; daughter, Jennifer Hart of Sheridan; two sisters, Diane Logan of Sheridan and Donna LeRoy of Wright; two grandsons; two aunts; and two uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Mark; and a granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to the Sheridan Hospital Foundation, Denver Children's Hospital or a college scholarship fund for her grandsons, in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, Sheridan 82801.
