Mary Beth Lorenzen, 64, of Arroyo Grande, Calif passed away quietly on November 29, 2014.

Born in Sheridan Wyoming, Feb. 14, 1950, she was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Ewan.

She and her husband, Loal, moved from Big Horn, Wyoming, to Arroyo Grande in 1987 with their two dogs and three horses.

A Medical Technologist, she worked in the laboratory at Sierra Vista hospital in San Luis Obispo for 22 years.

Mary Beth loved her family and many friends and enjoyed riding her horse Chamois on the beach with Loal as often as they could. The three dogs were also the light of her life. She also looked forward each summer to spending as much time as she could with Loal at the mountain cabin her grandfather built in Story, Wyoming, adjacent to North Piney Creek.

She is survived by her husband of forty years Loal Lorenzen, sisters Jeannie Ewan, Linda Arbaugh and brother Bob Ewan.

A memorial celebration of Mary Beth's life will be held at Grace Bible Church, Arroyo Grande, on December 13 at 11:00AM. A reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Grace Bible Church, Arroyo Grande, Hospice of San Luis Obispo County, Woods Humane Society or, The American Cancer Society .
