Private family services will be later for Darlene C. Hartman, 57, of Sheridan.

Mrs. Hartman died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, in Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place, and arrangements are with Kane Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hartman was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Sheridan to Ralph and Olga Walker. After she graduated from Sheridan High School, she went to work for Sheridan Meat Co. and Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

She married Charles Hartman in 1973. They divorced.

She enjoyed being with family and friends, playing with her cat, Squeakers, and attending her son’s sporting events. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years and an avid bingo player.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother of Sheridan; a son, Marc of Sheridan; two brothers, Jim Walker of Arizona and Tom Walker of Sheridan; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
