Kenny Thayer, 66, passed away July 4 in Cheyenne.

Kenny was born Jan. 14, 1949, in Sheridan to Marshall and Elsie Thayer.

He married Angie Thayer, and they had one daughter, Denise. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after working 40 years.

Kenny enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports. He will be greatly missed!

He is survived by his daughter, Denise, and her husband Mike; and three grandchildren, Gabriel, Christina and Marissa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A life commemoration service with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Cremation has taken place, and online tributes can be sent to the family at www.wrcfuneral.com.
