Sheridan native Michael S. Patterson, 60, of Berthoud, Colo., died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at Longmont United Hospital in Colorado.

No services are planned. Cremation is with Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Longmont.

Born April 14, 1949, in Sheridan to Edward and Virginia (Wood) Patterson, he married Rena' Laubach on Sept. 15, 1972, in Wolf Point, Mont.

They couple moved to Berthoud in 1974.

Mr. Patterson was a superintendent for Swinerton Builders of Denver.

He enjoyed team roping, hunting and fishing and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

A sister, Kathy Saccomano, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Shane Patterson of Louisville, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
