Sheridan native Dennis “Denny” Kreger Sr., 60, of Ridgefield, Wash., died Oct. 11, 2007, in his sleep.

Services were Monday at Ridgefield Church of the Nazarene.

Born to Victor and Mae Kreger, Mr. Kreger was a 1965 graduate of Sheridan High School. He had lived in Ridgefield for 42 years.

He was a machinist and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a member of the Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Colleen.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jackson Kreger; children Dennis Kreger Jr., Tammy Angvall, Laurie Vandermeulen, Shelly Dunn, Jason Kreger, Mathew Jackson, Lynne Jones, Molly Philips and Scott Jackson; and 21 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Ridgefield Lions Club.
