Marilynn was born in Fort Dodge, IA and moved to Story, WY as a young girl.

She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1965 and continued her education at the University of Wyoming. While attending UW, Marilynn pledged Alpha Chi Omega and majored in accounting.

After UW, Maryilynn started her accounting career in Anchorage, AK and then moved to Reno, NV. She spent the next 29 years in Reno working for Kafoury, Armstrong & Co., where she acquired a lifetime worth of amazing friends.

Upon retirement Marilynn moved to the Phoenix area where she enjoyed the warm climate and loved being closer to her sister and family.

Marilyn greatly enjoyed spending time by her pool, in her beautiful backyard and entertaining visitors from out of town and longtime friends who also relocated to Phx.

She couldn’t get enough of her beloved dog Abby, who filled her heart daily! Over the year’s Marilyn had several dogs, she loved and adored each one them.

Marilynn holds a special place in the hearts of all of her loved ones. Her passing has created a large void and she will be greatly missed by many.

Marilynn is survived by her sister Suzanne Bellows Gunnell, half-sister’s Susan Cox, and Rosanne Sharrott, her niece, Courtney Catron, Joel Pliskin (husband) and Jackson & Savannah Pliskin (children).

Marilynn has been cremated and will be remembered in a memorial in the early summer of 2020 at Lake Tahoe, where her ashes will be laid to rest in one of her favorite places.
