Stuart Eugene Briggs passed away on January 31, 2012 at University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City from complications of heart surgery.

Born May 13, 1946 to Eugene and Mildred Briggs of Sheridan, Stu was a lifelong athlete and outdoorsman.

He enjoyed hunting, camping, backpacking, boxing, judo, running, swimming, biking, triathalon, sailing, ice and rock cllimbing, and fly fishing.

He is survived by his wife Pam, sons, Ben and Joe, all of Billings; his mom, Mildred Briggs, and sister Vivian (Bill) Bobbitt of Bellevue, Idaho. Stu also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and several close and wonderful friends.

Stu's ashes will be sprinkled at his beloved Stillwater Cabin with a memorial service being planned for May.
