Regina (Gina) A. Twohy, 66, of Sheridan, WY, died Thursday, September 16, 2010, in the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Gina was born on April 14, 1944, in Acme, WY to Paul and Ann (Boyjko) Wantulok. She grew up east of Sheridan on Dutch Creek most of her youth and graduated from Sheridan High School.

She then found her passion, nursing. Gina worked and accumulated many awards & honors for her exceptional skills in nursing. Her last position was in Sheridan at the V.A. Medical Center until health issues ended her career.

Gina enjoyed raising her cows, until her health did not allow her to do so anymore, spending time with family and friends, and loved playing her accordion for people.

Gina was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, JoAnn Wantulok.

Mrs. Twohy is survived by her companion of 25 plus years, George Legerski; one son, Dan Twohy of Sheridan; one daughter, Sarah (Heath) Rieder of Boulder, MT, and one sister, Nancy Herdt of Wyarno, WY.

Memorial service will be 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21st, at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with Father Jim. Heiser officiating.
