Sheridan native Barry B. Walker, 56, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at his home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene.  Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.  Visitation will be noon-6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until noon Saturday at English Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Walker was born July 24, 1944, in Sheridan to Harvey and Ruth (Spracklen) Walker.

He married Betty Baker July 21, 1967, in Sheridan.

He was a veteran of Vietnam.

He moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1986 from Livingston, Mont.  Mr. Walker worked for Safeway stores from 1964-97.

He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, the Coeur d'Alene Bow Hunters Association and the Coeur d'Alene Public Men's Golf League.

He was preceded in death by his wife, in April 1999, and a grandson, Ryan Curry last year.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Curry of Post Falls, Idaho, and Susan Walker of Coeur d'Alene.
