Ernae ENDICOTT Caddell 1944 - 2016 SHS 1962

Ernae Caddell, 71, of Soldotna, AK, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 peacefully at her residence.

Ernae was born on July 22, 1944, in Sheridan WY, to parents Ernest Endicott & Rosemary Carrels Endicott. She married Steve Caddell in June of 1963.

After their marriage Ernae and Steve moved to Billings, MT where Steve finished college.

In 1967, the couple moved to Naselle, WA where Steve started his career in communications.

In 1968 they moved to Malta, ID. They were there until 1969 when they arrived at Kenai, AK on New Year's Eve. They remained in Alaska until Steve's untimely death due to illness.

In 1977 Ernae and her three children moved to Dayton, WY where she lived until her return to Alaska in 1983.

In 2010, she had a trip of a lifetime to New Zealand.

Ernae worked in Real Estate for 25 years and later ran her own Bed and Breakfast.

She enjoyed her family, especially her nephew Daniel Endicott who was a large part of her life, along with traveling with father in-law Woodie Caddell, camping, cooking and good venison.

Ernae was proceeded in death by her parents Ernest Endicott and Rosemary Bellows, husband Steve Caddell and her sister Karel Newlun.

She is survived by her brother Jack (Laura) Endicott, her children Stephanie (Douglas) Masters, Sherri Caddell and Michael (Emile) Caddell, five Grand Children and four Great Grand Children.

There will be an open house to celebrate her life as she would have enjoyed it with good friends, family, conversation and food. The open house will be at 3 pm on Saturday January 23rd at Ernae's house (43127 Crater Lane Soldotna, AK).
