Charlene Kay Hexem, 59, of Apache Junction, Ariz, formerly of Cheyenne, passed away following a prolonged illness on April 8.

She was born July 31, 1944.

Charlene moved from Cheyenne to Arizona in 1992. She was very successful in selling Mary Kay and enjoyed golf and camping with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Garry Lewis; a son, John Kevin Hexem and wife Barb of Higley, Ariz.; a daughter, Debbie Dixon and husband Calvin of Cheyenne; a granddaughter, Trisha Dixon of Arkansas; three sisters, Winnona and husband Jack Terry, Lila Allison and Shirley and husband Don Edgren; and a brother, Doyle and wife Irene Cool.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Hexem; two grandsons, Shane Dixon and Erich Hexem; and her parents.

Services have taken place at Green Acres Chapel of Light in Scottsdale, Ariz.
