Dennis Wilson, 73, longtime resident of Sheridan, passed away on March 19, 2016 at Tennova Helathcare in Shelbyville, TN.

Dennis was born on October 2, 1942, to Woodrow and Jaunita (Stockmeyer) Wilson, in Warsaw, IN. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1961 and Sheridan College in 1967.

He also married Madelene Pearson in 1967.

Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting and his job at Spring Creek Coal Mine, as an explosive engineer, for 24 years. After he retired, he and Madelene moved to Tennessee, to be closer to their granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, his son Travis Wilson (and his two daughters Allexis & Ava) and daughter Erin Wilson.
