Kathleen V. Williams, 65, of Sheridan died April 28, 2007, according to her family.

Memorial services will be announced later.

She was born Feb. 2, 1942. After the death of her birth mother, she and her siblings were adopted by Rosie (Belus) and Melvin Pruett.

She was a 1960 graduate of Sheridan High School.

She married James Douglas on July 3, 1960. They divorced. She married Byron "Buck" Williams in 1976. He died in February 1998.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Douglas of Shepherd, Mont.; a daughter, Brenda Torrens of Sheridan; three stepchildren, Lisa, Jeff and Tony; her mother of Sheridan; and six grandchildren.
