Robert “Bobby” Lackman, 61, of Sheridan died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at his residence due to complications from diabetes. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services at Mr. Lackman's request. Kane Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mr. Lackman was born Jan. 11, 1942, in Sheridan to Alex and Helen (Aksamit) Lackman. He grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School.

He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and was honorably discharged in 1966. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the Big Horn Mountains.

Survivors include his mother and one brother, Jerry, both of Sheridan; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
