OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - June 18 2004

SHERIDAN - Memorial services for Glen Sheridan Hopkins, 61, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at Champion-Ferries Funeral Home in Sheridan by the Rev. Don Derryberry.

He died June 8, 2004, in Homer, Alaska.

Born Aug. 22, 1942, in Gillette, he earned the Eagle Scout award and graduated from Sheridan High School. He was awarded a four-year athletic/academic scholarship to the University of Wyoming and, while there, was named an all-American in football.

After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1967, he began his professional career at Neodata, retiring in 1986. He then worked for North American Fleet Services until his death.

Survivors include his mother, Noreen Hopkins; brother, David Hopkins, and his wife; daughter, Heather Suits, and her husband; son, Tyson Hopkins, and his wife; and two grandchildren, with another one expected.
