Roma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to her beloved husband John for 63 years and they endured many hardships and joys together, working in love together as a team. Her life centered around her loved ones, and she was happiest when surrounded by her family’s lively conversation and love. She loved to play games, especially Scrabble and was often unbeatable. She had a quiet and shy exterior to those outside her family that belied a quick and agile intellect. Roma also loved to read, sew and knit and through the years made blankets and clothing treasured by her loved ones. She had a tender spot in her heart for babies and all animals, including her beloved dog Goldy.

Roma showed great courage and strength through the years in facing a myriad of complex health issues and found comfort in her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, firm in her conviction that she would know a resurrection to a paradise earth.

A memorial for Roma will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1802 N Raymond Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.
