Graveside committal services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum in Albany, Ore., under direction of Twin Oaks Funeral Home of Albany.

Mr. Halstead was born and grew up in Sheridan and was a 1960 graduate of Sheridan High School.

He married Judith (Best) Morgan in 1970.

He worked at Quick Print and the Mills Co. in Sheridan until 1980, when he moved to Hamilton, Mont. He owned and operated Sapphire Printing there until 1988. He later worked in several other states.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife; a sister, Ardith Kellog of Laramie; a daughter, Deana Stoios of Warren, N.J.; three sons, Taylor, John and Rod, all of Albany; and eight grandchildren.
