Weldon E Godwin, Jr, aged 77, passed on April 9, 2020.

Jr. loved fishing, camping, cooking turkeys, and hanging with friends.

Born and raised in Sheridan, WY. Graduated Sheridan High School in 1960. He Attended Sheridan College for two years and then went to the University of Wyoming and graduated in 1964.

He spent many years working for Ralph Groshart being an optometrist. He left Dr Groshart and worked odd jobs until he got hired by Drs Lidahl and Cummings at Sheridan Eyecare Center where he retired in January 2008.

He and his brother Tom were inseparable. They spent every day together when they could. They are both fishing and telling stories again.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Weldon Sr and Helen, and brother Tom.

He is survived by his son Brent and grandson Mitch.

Cremation has taken place. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date when the Coronavirus pandemic restrictions are lifted.
